Brush and Woody Waste

Only Grounds and authorized campus departments can bring fallen trees, limbs, brush and other yard waste to the Facilities Services Recycling Yard (download pdf of recycling yard map).

With its new chipping machine, Grounds is turning woody waste into mulch for sustainable campus landscaping. We avoid the contaminants like plastics and metals that ruin yard waste and damage equipment or injure Grounds workers using our chipper.
